Tarot cards, then known as tarocchi, first appeared in Ferrara and Milan in northern Italy, with the Fool and 21 trumps (then called trionfi).

I traveled to England years ago and had a tarot reading, the psychic said I would read tarot and I was thinking no I won’t. Later that afternoon mucking around in Swanage on the island for my birthday, we had tea and we visited an occult store. I saw this book that caught my eye and it said an illustrated guide to tarot. Well…ok then. So I learned tarot for myself and then my clients, that was almost 8 years ago.
